Winter Abroad at Yonsei, Seoul, Korea - Yonsei University

Dear WAY students,

 Greetings from the WAY team, we hope everything goes well with you and your loved ones.

  Yonsei University has decided to go this year’s winter session fully online after a thorough consideration regarding the health and safety of our students, faculty, and campus staff. The Omicron variant is spreading around the world, and viewing that the COVID-19 confirmed cases is increasing in Korea, we feel great responsibility to make a safest decision to our program members.

  For those students who chose offline courses, live-streaming class will be provided, instead. We will use "LearnUs" an online classroom platform, where lecturers upload course materials, assignments and interact with the students at Yonsei University. All classes offered will be taught in real-time (Korean Standard Time). Please note that on-campus housing will be provided as planned, and all students who have applied for offline class will be able to receive a 150,000 KRW BEATOGETHER COVID-19 Scholarship per offline course.

  Our team is genuinely aware of that this will come as a disappointment to the students and faculty who have shown their great expectations and interest in this year's WAY.
