Korean Language Course Information (for 2025 - 2026 WAY)
We are pleased to offer Korean Language Courses through the Korean Language Institute (KLI). Courses are available at different levels and time slots to suit students’ preferences. Please review the details below carefully.
Category KLI Courses Course Code / Title Level 1~3 available:
- IEE1137-01 KOREAN LANGUAGE 1(Morning)
- IEE1137-02 KOREAN LANGUAGE 1 (Afternoon)
- IEE1138-01 KOREAN LANGUAGE 2
- IEE1139-01 KOREAN LANGUAGE 3Class Size 10~15 Students per course Language of Instruction Korean (All KLI courses are taught in Korean) Course Registration Period Available ONLY during:
- 1st Course Registration Period (November 5~6)
- 2nd Course Registration Period (December 3~4)
*Students CANNOT register for or change their level during the Add & Drop Period.
*Changing the course level will be only available through the placement test. Changing course levels after the placement test is not available.Placement Test Mandatory
- Date & Time: December 26, 2025 during class hours
- Location: Korean Language Institute Building
*Further details will be provided to registered students via email.
*Students registered for IEE1137 "KOREAN LANGUAGE 1" with no prior knowledge of Korean are exempted from taking the placement test.
*Students who register for a Korean Language course above Level 2 and fail to attend the placement test on the first day will have their course automatically dropped.*Important Information:
Students can initially choose a desired course during the Course Registration Period. After the placement test on December 26, students will be automatically assigned to the appropriate level, and course registration will be finalized accordingly.
- Students who register for IEE1137-01 KOREAN LANGUAGE 1(Morning) will not be able to change their level through the placement test.
- Students who register for afternoon Korean Language courses cannot change to the morning class after the placement test.
