Important Dates

Eligibility

Winter Abroad at Yonsei(WAY) welcomes applications from students currently studying in or planning to attend a college/university outside of Korea. To be eligible, college/university students should have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Application Materials

One of the following application materials is required on the application form (based on student status).
 

1. Current college/university students: A copy of the official transcript issued within 3 months

2. College/university freshmen in 1st semester (without official grade): A copy of the official certificate of enrollment (CoE) issued within 3 months

3. High school seniors: A copy of the official letter of admission to a college/university

※ All materials should be officially issued within 3 months with the official institution mark and registrar/admission office’s signature.

※ Unqualified materials such as unofficial transcripts, provisional copies, improper documents will cause delay in application review, which may lead to rejection or even to admission denial.

※ To facilitate the admission process and verify students’ enrollment status, further materials such as certificate of enrollment can be requested.

※ Please note that meeting the minimum GPA requirement does not guarantee admission, as all applications are reviewed by a thorough and comprehensive review process.

※ All documents must be issued in either English or Korean. If a document is issued in another language, it must be officially translated into English, and the translated version should be submitted.

Application Procedures

1. Visit the WAY application website (winterapply.yonsei.ac.kr)
2. Create an ID and complete the online application
3. Pay the application fee
4. Await admission review
5. Receive your acceptance letter via email
6. Finalize by paying tuition and fees
